TAIMA’2026 – 13e édition

TAIMA’2026, the 13th edition of the workshops on Data Processing and Analysis: Methods and Applications, will be held in Spring 2026 in La Marsa (Tunisia).

True to the well-established tradition for over two decades, the TAIMA conferences aim to take stock of the state of the art and recent advances in technologies, methodologies, and applications related to the processing, analysis, and learning of information, particularly for signals, images, and shapes. Held every two years, the TAIMA conference brings together the English and French-speaking scientific community through plenary sessions, invited talks, oral presentations, and demonstrations.

The main objective is to foster high-level scientific exchanges while highlighting practical applications and the socio-economic challenges of the concerned fields: environment, health, cultural heritage, cybersecurity, telecommunications, intelligent finance, human-machine interaction, etc.

Contributions are expected to cover both theoretical work and applied or experimental results. Submissions addressing the following topics are particularly encouraged:

  • Processing and analysis of multidimensional signals and images
  • Machine Learning and Deep Learning
  • Statistical shape modeling
  • Embedded and distributed Artificial Intelligence (Edge AI, IoT)
  • Visualization and interpretation of big data

Special interest will be given to works dealing with applications in emerging fields such as:

  • Health and biomedical imaging
  • Remote sensing and Earth observation
  • Cultural heritage and augmented reality
  • Cybersecurity, blockchain, and decentralized systems

TAIMA’2026 will also feature two special sessions led by internationally renowned researchers:

  • Trustworthy and Explainable AI for Critical Applications
  • Foundation Models and Multimodal Learning

In parallel, a spring school will offer advanced training around the TAIMA’Challenge: a hands-on competition on real-world cases, including theory, practice, and collaborative implementations based on real data.

As in previous editions, accepted papers will be published in a volume edited by Arts-Pi.

The organizing team looks forward to welcoming you in La Marsa in a scientific, cultural, and friendly setting for a promising and enriching edition.
